Created by statisticians Ross Ihaka and Robert Gentleman, R is used among data miners and statisticians for data analysis and developing statistical software

• I've been using R for technical writeups and documentation. Is has it's own flavor of markdown called R Markdown or Rmd. It Support data binding, dynamic reports and loads more. It's definitly worth check it out.
